Here's another plant stand I made for a gal at work. Her measurements, stain color, my design. Did a sketchup design, got the approval then cut and built away. I can pick up the whole stand by just the two center crosspieces of the top shelf. Red oak, honey gel stain, spar varnish.

Good job. That sketchup is really cool. I think more guys would sell stuff if they would model it first. Woodworkers can "see" this stuff in their head - most people (customers) though can't. It's the old adage, "They don't know what they want, but they know it when they see it."

p.s. post you sketchup rendering too.
