Hey, Guys. The edge of the carport that is now my office had a sagging eave due to the old rock roof that was on it, plus the fact that the "engineer" tried to span 20+ feet with 2x10 material. I had steel jacks under it for a year or more but the office remodel forced my hand and I had to invent a solution. My fix is a cantilevered beam setup. I routed 2x10s to shape and laminated them together. I cut holes through the wall and passed the beams through. Then I supported them with the same steel jackstuds that are now hidden in the wall. It all worked perfectly and the roof edge is laser straight.
