This is one of my quest machines for awhile now. A friend of mine told me he had got two about year ago and was only going to keep one. So naturally I had to take the other one out of his shop.
Boice Crane OSS, and it works like a dream. Finding spindles is a little difficult, but hopefully have a 3/4" and a 1/2" coming in from afar. I tried making a spindle on the southbend, but . . . well. . . lets just say that didn't work. Anyway, here she is. . .

Since the pictures, I got a boot put on the spindle, and actually used it on some curves the other day. So far I'm limited to the one spindle I borrowed from a buddy. Having differing spindles and grits will be very useful.
