Done all but the Switch
Planning to add a foot switch, not sure if I'll wire it in series or in parallel.
Hinge top has Hydraulic lift assist (old rams off neighbors rear gate , Ford van).
Vacuum system works good.
I've got to allow that that's the finest router table I've seen someone build. Well done. Make sure you've got the pictures you want up, this deserves from front page coverage. Get in there and give us some closer pictures of the pullouts, okay? I like the dovetailed bit guard.
All the best, Don

I would think you want the router in series with the switch. If in parallel the router would still be able to run with your foot off the switch, which is a safety issue.

Thanks all
Jerry, I think you're right, double safety that way. Thanks. The switch now in not easy to get to. Maybe a click "on" then click "off" type foot switch. I need to look around & see what's out there.
I needed a router table to finish the workbench.
Adding some cabinet doors on the right side & 2 drawers on the left.
Using scraps left over from when I built the workbench & lots of glue.
Trying to get organized & have a place for stuff.
Told my wife I'm using the making of shop tool cabinets to learn how to make kitchen cabinets, don't know what I'll do when when I run out of shop projects. Remodel the kitchen is on her list.

I got excited when I made some raised panel doors & seen how easy it is with a router table.
