Slightly off topic but still within I believe.

I need to adhere sign letters to a cinder block wall. Kids have been stealing them as the sign company used plain ole caulk to hold the threaded rod in the cinder block. I'd like to use something a little more permanent but not so much that I can't remove them with a good amount of effort. Basically I'm trying to keep the kids from removing them but allow me to remove them if they ever need replacing or repair.

Ideas? I'm heading to the Home Depot to see if I can find something but I have a feeling it will be more permanent than not.

Hey, Dagster. In a CMU wall you might be lucky enough to have all of you fastenings in the hollow areas, then you could use a toggle bolt, maybe. Otherwise it's going to be some form of epoxy which will be a little on the permanent side. Mortar?
