Hey Everyone!
I am in the process of refinishing a step stool for one of my sons.. I stripped off the old finish and put three costs of poly on...Bone head me, I used satin finish and wanted gloss..:mad:
My question is, can I scuff it with say, 320 wet and dry sandpaper and put a couple costs of gloss poly over the satin finish? If so, how will it look?
I am under the gun as it is a Christmas gift for him.
I do not have time to resand to bare wood and put three or more coats of new finish on before giving it to him, so any and all help or suggestions would be appreciated.
