What has been your largest woodworking project? A house? A remodel? A kitchen? Have any pictures

Being that dad's a general contractor, and I worked for him for several years, do I get to count the monster houses we built?

My largest woodworking project to date would have to be the cabinets I just built for my aunts husband. Kitchen, pantry, and two bathrooms. Gained some appreciation for what goes on when the shops building cabinets. I forgot about, or just don't think of, all the other steps that are other peoples responsibilities. I'm used to just building stuff. But then theres the doors the drawers the drawer faces and sanding..... Man! I'm glad its over! Lots of work.

I feel that woodworkers (the shop variety) make very good planners and project managers. One needs to be able to see many, many steps down the road while envisioning the final outcome. A house or a room full of cabinets is a prime example.
