Here's some images of one of two DVD stands I made for the neighbors. The wife has a bazillion of them and the walmart stands weren't up to the task anymore. Pretty simple design and assembly EXCEPT for the 56 dowels that you don't see - 4 in each crosspiece. It was dyed, one coat of an oil mix, then 4 coats of GF armor seal satin. It'll hold just short of 300 DVDs (regular size cases) or 300 of you cram them.

All red oak. Sorry about that, meant to put that in there.

What is an oil mix?, oil varnish mineral spirits mixture ?.

yep, i used equal parts of MS, BLO, and GF armor seal semigloss (i used the semi gloss only because i haven't been using it for anything else and wanted to get it used)
