Changing table I finally got done with. It's mostly maple. Finished with dye, then shellac, then oil based poly on top of that. The grain really did neat things I didn't know wood would do -- it kind of shimmers a bit, and changes appearance based on your angle of vision. You can't really tell from the pictures. It's held together with a combo of pocket screws, biscuits, and glue.

If you guys don't like it, tough. I worked my butt off and it stays.

This is the front (solid maple) that is finished, attached to the plywood sides, which aren't finished yet:

Hey, ASC. Nice job on the table. I hope you don't mind, but I added a picture to your post and am going to put it on the home page. I'm sure others will want to see your assembly sequence.

Good work, Don

No problem, I would have done it that way if I knew how.

Thanks, Don. By the way, that was more or less random maple wood from the Florida Southern Plywood guys you suggested. I didn't realize what it was going to look like. I was just looking for stuff without too many knots.

Yeah, maple veneer can be surprising when finished. In order to get the "image" to show instead of the links, the line needs to be written [img] link [img], edit your own post and you'll see what I did.
