I've noticed a lot of y'all like cars. So who all are gearheads, hot rodders, speed demons, or just like cars? Does anyone like building motors or tranny's? I just got into woodworking this year. I was always the gearhead down the road everyone brought their junk to when they couldn't get it fixed. I find wood working SOOOOO much more relaxing, but I still love working on my own stuff. I've got a '78 Trans Am I've been working on for about 4 years now. Should have close to 500 horses when it's done.

If you're intersted, tell us what you drive, any projects, good racing stories, whatever. I have the Trans Am, and my 2004 Ram 1500 (yeah, it's got a HEMI)

I've got a 96' chev pickup thats my pride and joy. Got a bit of work done to it, just about every bolt on I can do to the engine. The exterior is pretty normal except for a few additions. It's got 331,000km on it and I plan on making it to 500,000km!

Well, it's been a while since I've been here, but I currently have a 92 Vette that I have fun with. But I have had a few 60s muscle cars in the past that I really wished I still had. A 66 and 69 Chevelle SSs w/396ci each, 69 Dodge Dart GT w/360 6 pack, 68 Ford Galaxy 500 w/390, 70 Camaro Z28 w/350 just a few. I even built a 74 V8 Vega w/350, 400 turbo trans and narrowed twelve bolt rear end. I've had even more over the years and had fun with all of them.
