Hey, welcome rt.
Don't know enough about what you have planned (do you have plans, drawings?) but will give a 25 cent problem I ran into when building a corner shelf. If you plan for it to be built in, check the corner for square. the corner shelf I built was square but the carpenters that built my house didn't own a square so the shelf didn't fit right. Ended up making a new one "not square" so it would look right. Gave sq one as a gift, hope their house had square corners.
Good luck

whenever I build a corner box, whether its a kitchen cab. or a stand alone piece, I draw it out first, to size, on a piece of scrap sheetgoods. Just an overhead view though, no need to draw out a front or side view here. this will help you determine your sizes for your sides, backs and face frame, if its a face frame box.
as far as the square issue goes, just build the box square but leave some scribe on the back, where the box meets the wall on each side. This will allow the box to sit in the corner better if the wall is out. (which it probably is:rolleyes:)
I hope this helps. what do you guys think?
Hey, RT. Tell us a little more about what you want to do. A corner cabinet can cover a lot of designs. I have two in my dining room and need to get some pictures posted.
