Solid walnut handle, (pain in the butt)

Another walnut handle, finger grips this time. (my first one)

Better view of previous handle.

One I'm working on now for a friend. (getting the handle to go up on the blade like that is a pain too)

If anyone remembers me talking about making bullroarers, this is my first one (that works). It's not completely finished yet.

All the handles are made out of walnut, and the bullroarer is red oak. Hope y'all like my work. Of course, any advice is welcome. No making fun of me though.:p

It's all good. This type of work is similar to making gunstocks. Freeform styling and shapes married to exacting hardware. Gunsmithing and knifemaking can be some of the most challenging woodworking projects out there. Keep at it, you'll only get better.

More? That's all I got. :D Just got a truckload of 4"x6"x10' cherry today though, so something's got to be done with that.
