Osiyo Nigada.....(Cherokee for...Hello everybody) I have been in the woodworking business for many years. I cater to the after-market auto industry. I make the overhead pieces, door pieces, dash pieces, and consoles for pickups and RV's. In my spare time, I try and make a few furniture pieces, and repair antique furniture. I also restore antique cars. I guess I stay pretty busy. Anyway, I have enjoyed reading your post's, and I will jump in when I can. I'm glad to be here.

Howdy, Red!

Unusual specialty. I would guess it's pretty similar to wooden-boatbuilding.

Welcome, Redbird. So you make interior trim parts? At an upholstery shop?

I make parts for seat mfgs. They do the interior work for Regency Vans, and Prevost, and Fortravel motor homes. The send me an order for parts, and I build it, and deliver to their plant. It gets trying at times, but, I really enjoy doing it. When I figure out how to post some pictures, I'll send some along. I use a lot of laquer stains, and conversion varnish. Sometime they hit me with an order for a pour on epoxy, and that get's tough on large parts.

Welcome Redbird
Sounds like you enjoy your work. That in itself adds years to life.
Looking forward to the pictures.
