As seems to be the custom on web fora, I'm taking a few moments to introduce myself and say hello.

I've been dabbling in woodworking, in a very limited way, for about the last ten years.

Woodworking class in high school was repetitive and boring, and that put me off it for a loooong time.

I got back into it again after nearly twenty years of doing nothing more difficult than screwing down a squeaky stair.

I mostly make lots of dust and shavings, while hoping to turn out a small box or knife handle.

Hi Keith,

Welcome, glad you found us. You'll have to show us some of your knife handles.

Hey Keith... Welcome and good luck on your "new" woodworking ventures... Wish you the best of luck.. Drop some pictures of your handles when you get a chance, I am sure we would all love to see some of them...

Hi Keith!

Yep, I doubt high-school shop class has created very many woodworkers......

Hey, Keith and welcome to the forum.

Hey - I'm a high school woodshop nerd. Still have the grandfather clock to prove it, one day I'm going to install the mechanism.
