Riddex pest control repeller

Does anybody have any opinions or experience with this Riddex pest control plug-in thingy.

Apparently you plug this thing into an electrical outlet and it changes the electric wave patterns in your wiring in the house to repel roaches, mice, rats, bugs in general.

Was wondering if it really works, or is it some snake-oil? Looking at the e-opinions site, its about half/half, either you really like it, or really hate it.

I've got some of those sonic plug-ins out in the pump house to keep the spiders and roaches away. I can't really say either way to be honest. Seems like there are less. Or something else bigger moved in and is eating them.
