There's a big world of interests out there, what other stuff are you into?

Use this are to ask question, post thoughts or complaints about anything outside of woodworking.

Please be sure to follow the agreed upon forum "bill of rights" though.

For some reason hot chicks don't pose with nice architectural millwork, or do they?

If the women don't find ya handsome, they should at least find ya handy!

The Red/Green show reminds me all too much of my family. There are members of mom's side that get extremely mad if they get less duct tape than someone else at the family Christmas party!

Of course Jeff Foxworthy hits a little close to home at times as well... I walked in the exercise/game room at mom and dad's the other day, and there was mom, walking on the treadmill... Drinking a beer.

50+ members and counting! When was the forum started?

Don

Forum created about 9/19, out to the public about 9/29 - from what I've heard you can expect about fifty a month. It will be interesting to see if that holds true. I didn't think we would get fifty the first month.

You guys that are competing in the contest for the scooter should join some of the other forums as well, participate in them where you can and "if" this forum has a topic or post that would prove to be helpful, post your referral link. It would be a good way to introduce someone to our play area. Plus it would get you some points.

There is even a woman's woodworking forum that some of the members are asking if anyone is out there. They are not getting a lot of participation.

Fifty seems decent to me. But I would think that if the levels of quality posting are upheld, that it would be an exponential growth rather than static. But then again, I'm not a math major.

Let's make it happen, you can say that you were there. This is going to be my legacy for the planet. Take care of my posts when I'm gone.

Don, I have to say I have your roll bar kit in my car and the bars haven't budged a hair. They are super tight. Nice product.

I am into woodworking as well. Glad someone posted the link to this place.

Still love this pic.....

My how the thread strays....

Well, if I'm going to throw my measley 2 cents in on this one, I will say that I spend a lot of time and energy growing a significant chunk of our years' vegetables. We have a 2000 square foot veggie garden, and a 200 square foot herb garden. I had a flock of chickens, too, but predators finally got them all. I also learned how to brain tan hides to make buckskin. I continually learn new things, mechanically, when either my Jeep ('87 cherokee) or my sons vw ('89 Jetta) needs work. After having worked as a pastry baker for 11 years('82-'93), I still love to bake. And now and then, I will pick up that ol' guitar and sit by the campfire with friends until they drop like flies around me....Young people these days! You can't count on ANY of them to see the sunrise with you!

*taking a drink of homebrew, listening to the strum of the ole guitar, watching the stars, looking at the people drop like flies*

There is nothing like the smell of fresh homemade bread.

still need to till up the garden, but do have some sage still growing.

I used to do the whole watchin' the sunrise thing from the night before, but can't hack it anymore... And I'm only 25! Now, I'm just as happy to drink 2-3 head for the house, and sleep for 12 hours straight. My how times change!

I only do the woodworking in the cold winter months,
my shop is in my basement and it stays nice and warm there.
In the summer months I stay busy doing auto bodywork and paint.
It makes a lot more money then woodworking and I like being
outside.
Here's my last paint job. (hope you like orange:D)
