hey guys! my name is Jason and I have been working with wood for about 10+ years. I started on the sanding table for a custom cabinetry business and worked my way through the ranks and am now an assembler/specialty builder for a high end custom shop. I've learned a lot. but I can tell from reading through the posts on this site that there is a whole mess of info that I have yet to learn. I can't wait to learn some tricks and tips from some of the old timers around here! I really enjoy Dons diagrams that he has posted and I am eager to try out the finger jointing jig.

Hey Jason!
Welcome and enjoy yourself around here. Hey, spill the beans on your knowledge too!!
Don, does have the coolest drawings. But also look at what the other guys and gals say; they know their stuff. Especially being "old-timers"! :D
You mentioned the finger joint jig that Don drew. Below, take a look, it's an operational jig, based on his drawing.

Welcome to the site Jason!
I used to work in a cabinet shop as well before I struck out on my own.
