I hope I did this right!:D
This is my first post on this site I am a new member! very excited about finding this place, it looks like a very friendly knowledgable place. I look forward to learning much from you guys!
this is a jewelry box I made for my father in law.or maybe we should call it a watch/change box? Its flamed maple, walnut, and birdseye maple. He is a very outdoorsy kind of guy, hunting, fishing and such, and likes that rustic woodsy look so this is what I came up with for a B-day present for him.

Nice
Now he has a "Super Nice" place for the bear claw necklace & gold-plated fishing lure tie clip.
Very well done, great design for a guy.
How did deadbolt know your wife's name?

yeah, I kinda thought so too. kind of a rugged design. this is one of those things that actualy does look 10 times better in person. I don't know why but every time I tried to take a pic. it just looked kinda strange. these two pics where the best ones but I don't think they show off the box for what it really is.
I am assuming he followed my Myspace link in my sig. where I have this pic posted with the heading "box I made for Missys dad".
10-4, I thought you guys were buddys, then I saw that you are a few states apart. Just wondering what I was missing.

Very nice. And a nice finish as well. Boxes are fun make, especially when they're interesting like this one.

Nice box Jason!
I really like the rough trim that something I haven't seen on a small box like that, cool.

Really pretty work, Jason. When I was a kid, I started out making jewelry boxes and selling them at craft shows. Nothing like these, though. Very sweet.
