Finally got one project done

Made this to hit me in the head to figure out the dovetail thing.
Hasn't helped so far. Maple
But at least it's done, unless you guys think it should be varnished or painted Steelers colors (hate to paint real wood)
Maybe oiled?

Reminds me of an old MASH episode. They wanted to get a wooden bust carved of the Colonel. They interviewed woodworkers.

"Do you have any examples of your work?" The oriental guy (is that politically correct?) pulled a piece of wood from his bag and handed it to them.

"That looks like a piece of two by four."

"Thank you."


And that looks like a mallet. Was that one used on the first or second Conan movie?
