Speechless.
My vote for "PICTURE & PROJECT OF THE CENTURY"
How did you get the finish to look like cast iron texture?
I first thought you were showing off the shelf & the train was metal.

There are craftsmen, and then there are CRAFTSMAN. (The guy has patience too!)

I didn't built this. It was on eBay for-sale.

I see that now, so impressed I forgot to read.
Did you bid?

The minimum bid on the train was $7500, and there were no bids.
Don't give up the day job!

Man, that is awesome. Wish I had $7500.00 to blow. It would be sitting in my game room with my other train collection beginnings.
Trains are also one of my favorite hobbies. I have had a couple of layouts in my lifetime.
I plan to build one around the top of the wall in my gameroom.
Thanks for sharing that with us Bill!

You mean like this? I did this LGB G-Scale train in my son's room.

Here's a couple of very cool videos:

VIDEO 2: View From Onboard the 2-4-0 (http://www.ffcobra.com/images/train006.wmv) (This is the best. Turn up the volume!)

That's pretty cool, Bill. I love trains around the perimeter of rooms.
As far as the big boy goes, if I was to spend that much time building something that big-I better be able to ride it.

Yea Bill, thats what I'm going to do but with HO scale. I also want to have scenery so I will probably make mine stick out from the wall a little more.
Man, those videos were cool. Did you attach a little video recorder or one of those wireless cameras?

Wow! If you're wondering what the definition of patience is... :D

I just sat the camera on the flatest part of the train and let her rip.
