Help!

I have an old Rockwell Model 10 Table Saw that is in pretty good shape. Problem is, the handwheel of this model was plastic and the inside eventually gave way. Does anyone know if a Delta Metal Handwheel replacement would work in lieu of the original plastic?:

Hey, Miter and welcome to the forum. Can't answer that question for you. I'm sure you can search google and find a repair parts manual and see if Delta has a replacement part for you. If not you can find handwheels at McMaster-Carr online. You may even get lucky and find the bore you need. If not you can buy the handwheel and drill it out yourself or take it to a machine shop.

Maybe others will chime in and have other suggestions.

All the best, Don

Hey Miter, welcome.

You're going to need the dimensions of the handwheel you're after. Most places size the wheel in decimals so you'll probably need a caliper; although you might get by with just stating the model of the table saw.

I would check fleabay first. There seems to always be handwheels selling on there. But you need to know the dimensions.

Otherwise, as Don said McMaster-Carr is good place. I would also try Reid Supply Company. www.reidsupply.com

You might even try locally, takes leg work, but you might get lucky.

Good luck, and let us know.
