Would like to know what woodworking magazines everyone subscribes to.
I used to get a few woodworking mags, and thinking about re-subcribing to one or two.
Would like everyone's opinion on what you think the best woodworking magazine is.
Thanks for the input.
Fine Woodworking was always my favorite. Taunton Press. Have not subscribed in years though. Problem was I could never bring myself to throw any away and they kept piling up. I think I'm always going to go back and find that article, but I never do.

Dad gets Fine Woodworking. I enjoy that one. He gets 2-3 others as well, but I can't seem to remember what they are.
I get This Old House magazine from a free subscription years ago, and have never given them a dime, but it keeps coming. There's actually some interesting things in there sometimes on woodworking.
My all-time favorite for getting ideas is Architectural Digest. Expensive and really has nothing on the topic of woodworking, but some of the designs and furniture are inspiring.

Shopnotes
Fine Woodworking
Woodworkers Journal
Handyman (surprisingly good)
Fine Homebuilding
Might be a couple others.

Hey thanks for the responses guys.
If anybody else has any other reccomendations, please feel free to post'em.
Since I'm looking into subscribing, if anybody is interested, I'll do a cost comparison of all the mags that get posted.

Since no one has mentioned them, I've always thought that Woodsmith & Shopnotes (to a lesser extent) are excellent for people trying to go from beginner to higher levels of woodworking.
Would agree with others that Fine Woodworking is probably the best.
All the others tend to be a bit interchangeable and I subscribe based on who is giving the best discount at the moment.

All of the August Home publications are great! (Shop Notes, Woodsmith, Workbench)
I also read American Woodworker, Popular Woodworking and WOOD Magazine. They have excellent articles and projects.
You can never read just one! (Ha Ha)

I subscribe to Wood and Woodsmith.
I really like Wood magazine because of the wide range of projects, tool reviews and articles. Some ads but not so many that they overpower the whole magazine.

I dumped Wood Magazine a while back because it was all yard ornaments. Have they improved since I dumped them?

Cool, I might pick up an issue and see how it is looking. I dumped them about 4 years ago if I remember correctly. They kept doing yard ornaments and lawn chairs... rarely any furniture. Sounds like things have turned around for them.
