OK, try #2, thus the old adage "I cut it three times and it was still to short" (it's ok to blame the tape measure)
Thanks for the prodding, Don, sometimes I need a push to get going.
I found this forum while surfing around for ideas, tips etc. on building a shed out back to replace my old one. I'm looking for about a 10X14 with outside covered cord wood storage, planter area. Smaller projects are a little more to liking as I travel a bit for work. I last helped my son with a napkin holder for his Mom, traced an oak leaf onto 1/4" plywood, cut it out on the scroll saw, stapled it to a piece of 1x2 and painted it with fall colors.

Welcome!
The sites Dagster listed seems to be a great starting point. I would also suggest going to Home Depot/Lowes to get an idea on the size you want... Just make sure to tell the clowns working there to leave you alone! :D

If you were closer to Indiana, I know a guy who puts up/sells tubular steel building that are absolutely top-notch, and he can do them in nearly any size and configuration, and cheap too.
One simple question... Are you looking to buy a package and build it, or are you wanting to piece the entire thing together yourself?

Welcome Bruce!
This is my list for a Little shed of horrors. I've built two of these in my back yard.
1. Wood floor: 2x6 with 3/4" plywood nailed down.
2. Frame: 2x4s. (have nail gun will travel)
3. Walls: T-111
4. Roof: Slanted, lean-to style, plastic PVC-DWV corrugation 4x8 sheets. I like the smoke colored sheets it allows light in, but keeps out snow, leaves, rain, etc. Solid color roofing PVC is too dark, you have to allow for electricity. And the clear is just too bright and too hot in the summer.
With a 10x14, you might also look into a pole-barn.
Good luck, and keep on posting. :)
