Cornhole Boards...

Tomorrow night's project isn't an incredibly hard one, but should off many hours of beer drinking in the future! Some may know the sport as cornhole, bean bags, bean toss, corn toss, etc., but around here it's simply corn hole or bags.

Now somebody give me an interesting "theme" to go with on the paint scheme. A buddy already has the Colts theme, and there are IU and Purdue boards out the wazoo around here, as well as a ton of #8 boards too... I'm thinking a Busch Light logo in the center would be awesome! Or maybe Rebel Alliance VS. The Empire... :D

Whew, when I saw the topic, "Cornhole Boards" I was afraid it might be my first awkward post to be moderated.

Bean bags, Lee, bean bags. That's what we call 'em here in the southeast. Of course this game played here would simply be horseshoes. Looks like a good game though, would certainly take the guesswork out of scoring; it fell through the hole or it didn't.

Around here it's cornhole... A few call it bags, but most call it cornhole.

Brings up a funny story of me getting punched... Last summer I met a girl, hung out with her a few times, and then brought her to a party at my buddy's house. Well, there were about 4 cornhole games goin' on, and I asked her if she wanted to play cornhole... She turned red, and when I laughed and went to explain, she hauled off and punched me... Luckily in the head, so it didn't hurt anything. :(

We went to Cancun a few years back, and taught our Mexican bartenders how to play. Yes, it's sad... We went to Cancun, and brought cornhole boards. But anyway, the Mexicans wouldn't call it cornhole, they kept calling it "the cornhole". When we would show up at the bar for breakfast the bartenders would say something like, "Hey... I gonna get you in the cornhole today, hombre!" And they weren't sure why this offended some people! :D
